Environmental Nuisance (QLD only)

Environmental Nuisance covers issues such as noise, dust, odour, light and smoke emissions which create an illegal nuisance under the Environmental Protection Act 1994. Whilst Local Government has the powers to deal with environmental nuisance complaints, NQ Environmental Health Services can investigate the issue on either the complainant's or alleged offender's behalf and work with your Local Council to achieve a suitable outcome and to ensure that your rights are being met.
