Many new developments undergoing Development Approvals (DAs) with either Local, State or Federal Governments often need to demonstrate how they will meet their Environmental Health obligations such as Environment Nuisance (noise, dust, odour, lighting, etc), food safety (for DAs of food shops), waste storage and disposal, environmental emissions and other Environmental Health related matters. For industrial operations, this generally includes the prepartion of a Site Based Management Plan where all items that have the potential to impact the environment are listed with controls, monitoring and records in place to demonstrate how environmental impacts will be minimised.

We can work with Developers and/or Project Managers (including Private Town Planning Businesses) to ensure that the Environmental Health requirements of DAs are adequately met and considered in the DA submission. This will reduce the need for RFIs (Request for Information) from the Authorities and aid in speeding up the DA process provided other requirements are adequately met.
