Disaster Management (QLD only)

We can assist in the writing, updating and/or reviewing of Environmental Health Disaster Management sub-plans for Local Government. This helps to ensure that Environmental Health Officers or contractors meet the EHO Disaster Requirements of the Local Council as all EHO staff assisting are under direction of the Local Disaster Management Committee.

We can also assist private businesses in writing Disaster Plans to suit their business needs, especially in the food services sector.

NQ Environmental Heatlh Services are also available to assist in all responses to disasters across Queensland as an Environmental Health Officer/Contractor. The money required for all response services in declared disasters comes from a combination of State and Federal Disaster Funding to ensure Local Governments have the money and resources to adequately respond to disasters in their area.
